Hi TOW. Firstly, I'm not a doctor of any kind, just another female who's been in similar situations. The most important thing is that you need to stay calm as that is critical for your baby's welfare. Words from my obstetrician after my fall when I was pregnant was that you would have to fall quite hard and usually would have to land on your stomach to have done some damage. Dark brown blood is old blood which is a better sign. Bright red blood is fresh and if you see it would be best to get to a specialist as soon as possible. Although bleeding is not necessarily a problem in pregnancy it is always best to see a physician as soon as possible for two reason: to make sure there's no problem and to put your mind at rest. good luck.
