I have had this procedure done twice now. The last time was in May of 2010. My periods were very heavy as well. didn't seem to help much after the first one and so my doctor did the second. My period is now much lighter (although I was hoping for no period at all like some women). However, i have not read anything yet that compared to what I now seem to be experiencing. Keep in mind i am in my mid 40's so maybe a combo of early menopause, but i get my period now every 21 to 25 days. Used to be 28 on the mark before the procedure. I get it for two days(light) then it goes away totally, not even any spotting. Then about 4 days later it comes back outta no where full force again for about a day then I spot on and off for another 5 days after.. At least it is light now but sorta a pain and inconvenience with the spotting for that long.. so all in all I can say I am inconvenienced every 21 days for at least 10-12 days on and off. Has anyone had anything similar to this happen?
