I had the procedure done on April 21, 2011. The following evening I had such bad cramps that my husband had to take me to the emergency room. They did a CT Scan and found that my the top of my uterus had been punctured and a portion of my small intestine had to be removed. I was admitted to the hospital on Saturday and was septic all night. I had surgery on my small intestine on Monday, April 25th. The plus side is I haven't had my period since April 9th. Although, I think I would rather have had the heavy bleeding than 23 days in the hospital.
