I don't know how you dealt with the pain for 4 weeks. The unbearable pain started the night after the procedure...I couldn't even stand up. My husband insisted I go to the ER. The other problem was that the doctor that did the resection messed up. When he was putting my intestines back in, he "snagged" another piece on a staple. I had a second surgery 10 days after the 1st. Which was after I was septic for the 2nd time and 2 more CT scans.
