Have you had unprotected sex AFTER your last menstrual period?

When you have a menstrual period, it means you are not pregnant from that prior cycle.

If you have not had sex after your last period, then your period may just be "late" (although unless you are perfectly on the most "regular" cycle every time, it probably isn't really "late", since you just had one Dec. 10th, and today is only Jan 14th).

How long are your cycles, typically? (You can't use the date-of-the-month very accurately, seeing as each month is different in length of days, so eventually your period will fall on different dates). To know the length of your cycle, count the first day of your period as "day 1". Then, the day of your next subsequent period (first day of bleeding) is again "Day 1". The days in between are known as the length of your cycle, and normal ranges are between 21-35 days.

Does this help?
