I know it seems safe to have sex the day your period is about to start, but the problem is that you may not know that you are ovulating late. If that's the case, then yes, it would be possible to get pregnant even that late in your cycle.
Did you have unprotected sex earlier in the month? Is it possible that even if you had protected sex or "safe" sex that something happened, like a condom broke or something, and caused you to become pregnant then?
It's also possible to sometimes just skip a period, depending on our hormone levels and the amount of stress we are under. Has anything changed in your life this month? Did you start or stop any medications? Have you changed your eating or exercise habits?
Since you think you are 15 days late, if I were you I would get a home pregnancy test and see what it says. If it's positive, you need to know, and if it's negative, then you can breathe a little easier while you wait for your period to come. Are you considering doing that?
