Your friend is lucky to have you on her side. At 6'0, 130 is very thin. When she "came clean" about it to you yesterday, did she tell you anything else? If she is seeing a doctor for the numbness in her leg, she didn't mention this to him?
Does she have trouble keeping liquids down? Or just solid food?
Is it possible that your friend has an eating disorder? In other words, perhaps she "hid" the vomiting from you (and from others) because she is ashamed of it?
She may have gastrointestinal issues that are too severe for something like probiotics to help. She could be dealing with gallbladder problems, gastroenteritis, a hiatal hernia, a stomach ulcer, etc. There are many conditions -- easily fixable -- that could be at the center of her problem.
Did anything else in her life change a month ago? A new medicine, or stopping an old one, for instance? A major life stress or change?
