About two years ago I started needing the loo pretty much constantly, and it was particularly effecting me at night - it takes me about an hour to get to sleep because every time I lie down I get back up to go to the loo again, and I wake up every couple of hours to go to the loo once I do sleep. It took a while for the drs to realise (they also suggested it might be in my head etc) but eventually diagnosed me with Interstitial Cystitis (a long term disease of the bladder) after they performed a cystoscopy. I take tablets now which means that my sleep has improved, and there are some dietary changes you can make to help. Waking up so frequently is so frustrating, I hope that you reach some conclusion soon. It is worth noting that bladder problems take a notoriously long time to be diagnosed, but keep going. Best of luck :)
