Annon-- Thanks for posting. Clearly these products were created to protect human life in the event of a catastrophic fire. I remember in the early 70s when children' s pajamas were highly flammable. Although flame retardants were well intended, too often such products create terrible unintended consequences. I agree with you about needed strict regulations when it comes to products that affect our health. It is one thing to knowingly chose to do something that has health risks, but quite another when don't have that choice.
