Based on the information provided, it may be a number of things. Swelling and Itching of your vaginal lip may indicate some type of infection. Is it tender and red? Since it is only on one side of your vagina, it could be an infected hair follicle which usually resolves itself.
Have you also experienced any discharge or burning? If this is the case, you may have a yeast infection that requires a prescribed anti-fungal treatment.
