reading your responses and knowing that I have support is comforting.
I met with my endo today and my pathology report shows one solid nodule in the lower pole of the left lobe measuring 1.9x1.5x1.2 cm. Increased vascularity is noted in the nodule on color Dopler.
Small lymph nodes are seen in the left side of the neck, the largest seen just lateral to the left thyroid gland measuring 2.1x.4x.7 cm.
impression: Markedly inhomogenousand slightly enlarged thyroid gland with solid nodule measuring 1.9 cm in the lower pole of the left lobe. Biopsy under ultrasound guidance is recommended.
My biopsy should take place next week. I'm just waiting on a call from scheduling.
