It could be breakthrough bleeding since it can happen at any time. If you recently started taking Yaz then this may be the reason for it.

Implantation Bleeding, on the other hand, usually occurs around the same time as your period should be starting and should actually be called "Implantation Spotting" because most of the time, it is just some pink or brown spotting. Not every woman experiences implantation bleeding, in fact, I never experienced it with my either my son or my daughter.

However, because you missed two pills last month and had unprotected sex both times-- you should test for pregnancy if this bleeding seems to stop and your period never comes. So, in about a week if this odd bleeding goes away on its own after only a couple of days then I'd test. If it continues on for the regular duration of a period then it is most likely your period for the month.
