It is like making resolutions at the beginning of a new year, but to me it is more significant and usually something I have more success with. I give up some of my bad habits like sweets and eating between meals and replace it with more healthful alternatives. Since I have always been very health conscious, it was not too hard for me to do and after the first week, I found I do not have that desire anymore. I hope to continue long after lent is over and it will become my lifestyle. Going to church during the week is something I have added to stay focused.
