Hi,
There are many things you can do! Drinking an excess of caffeine and smoking can be triggers for headaches, but also cutting these out suddenly ("cold turkey") can also cause a headache ("withdrawal headache").

EmpowHER has great information about headaches, including causes, prevention and treatment options: EmpowHER: headaches.

To know more about your headaches, do you know what is triggering them? Do you notice any environmental factors, PMS, sleep patterns, excess stress or other lifestyle factors (before/after exercising, fluid-intake if you are dehydrated, looking at computer screen, etc)?

There are many types of headaches, including cluster, sinus, tension, migraine. Have you ever talked with your doctor about your specific symptoms, what triggers your headaches, the frequency, duration and severity of each one?

We can help talk you through some of the common symptoms, triggers and types of headaches, if you can provide some of the answers to the above questions. There is a great website that also discusses basic headache information: National Headache Foundation.
