Hi,
Do you still have the patient information brochure that comes with your monthly prescription? If not, be sure to keep one copy (when you fill your next prescription), so that you can reference it, as that will have the most accurate information. We can not guarantee that the information we find on your prescription is correct, but MOST 28-day pill packs say this information (the below information is for your specific Trivora 28, assuming this is current information online):

"If you MISS 1 blue, white or pink "active" pill:
1. Take it as soon as you remember. Take the next pill at your regular time. This means you may take 2 pills in 1 day.
2. You do not need to use a back-up birth-control method if you have sex."

If you miss one pill--meaning you do not take it at the exact same time one day--but do take it within the 24-hour period, then you do not need to use back up method.

However...I would suggest to err on the side of caution and use a back-up method for the next 7 days if you are really worried.
