Hi mshienie,
I too have struggled with intrusive thoughts. Therapy with a cognitive behavioral therapist who specializes in ocd has made all the difference, plus I take an antidepressant, and have gone to an ocd support group. Many people who suffer from ocd hide it from others, and being alone is really painful. The book on Freedom from ocd by Jonathan Grayson really helped me--maybe you could get it at the library. Also, check out the International OCD Foundation--they have lots of good information. All the best,
