The ‘rule of thumb’ for most birth control pills is: if you miss taking any pills, you should always use a back up method of birth control for at least 7 days. Did you double up for the missed pills or did you miss the two pills and just start taking one pill at a time?
I am afraid that you may have to take a pregnancy test to be sure about possible pregnancy. Every time you have sex, there is a chance of pregnancy as there is no 100% guaranteed method of birth control. For future reference, you should always use a back up method if you miss your pills (i.e. condoms). Would you kindly keep us posted on your pregnancy test results?
