Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear about your health conditions. Did your medication use for the blood pressure cause the removal of your kidney?

There are many things you can do to try and control your blood pressure. Staying away from salt all together would be helpful. If you use salt, try to only use it in moderation. The current recommendation is to consume less than 2.4 grams (2,400 milligrams[mg] ) of sodium a day.

There are many things you can do to try and control high blood pressure. If you smoke, you should really look into quitting as smoking does not help with high blood pressure.
