I do not think there should be any debate about the impact on children- breastfed and non-breastfed. Promoting breastfeeding is easier to propagate amongst mother. What most lacking is the keen interest to promote breastfeeding by the professionals. More importantly they do not have the knowledge and skills when confronted with any breastfeeding problem.
Knowledge and skills are the keys for promoting and supporting breastfeeding.
