My son suffered an anoxic brain injury 13 months ago after choking on a grape. Doctors gave us no hope and persuaded us to terminate life support. They said he'd never overcome the vegitative state, never talk or walk. I've read everywhere that you see the most progress within the first 3 months of recovery , however my son continues to recover. He is now walking and communicating, and continues to learn thanks to intensive therapy . This is his story on YouTube:
