Please trust that you did the right thing.
We fought and held out.no one told us exactley what life wld be like if she came out of the coma. My sister is alive now but she is not living.
She needs 24/7 care. She will always need constant supervision for the rest of her life. She is now 31 with no short term memory . her moments of joy consist of eating. We took her out of the only facility in the state of florida so she wld have a better life than her bed and 4 walls and it is very difficult and expensive to have sitters with her at all times.
I know one thinks that her love shld be enough to fight for....
But the sister i knew before the brain injury never wld have wanted to live like this.❤
