Each person is different. Sounds like nerve issues so I can tell you my doctors thought I would always have numb spots but as time has gone I have all my feeling back with no numbness or tingling... My situation is also not the norm as I've had 24 surgeries on the ankle... So... Give it time and talk to your doctor about it they may be able to give you medications to make it more tolerable.
