What state was your dr in? Sounds like my dr. I had a fusion 6 years ago from a calcaneus displacement from falling down 3 steps. I have chronic daily pain and swelling from my calf to my mid-foot. I cannot wear shoe wear. I buy so many shoes that feel good at first but hurt for an hour or so. I was told I would be able to have a normal life. I cannot even put weight on my foot at all.
