My daughter went blind from her lupus in 12 hours. She was 15 at the time. We did everything the docs told us to do. Reg eye visits etc. It was horrible. It was further complicated because the docs felt eye complications were rare and "couldn't" be happening. They were not prepared to act quickly to treat her... Resulting in further eye damage..
