I'm not certain from your question what happened to your friend, and the answer would depend greatly on that. Was this a head trauma injury, or a neck injury, or a stroke? Each situation could be similar in that their might be sensory problems or paralysis, but the treatment would vary. How long has it been since the injury? This would be another issue as far as treatment or rehab.
