The last time my period was late, I tried testing this theory and eating a decent amount of parsley (some fresh and some made into a pesto) and eventually I did get my period!! Unfortunately, I don't know whether the parsley was what stimulated my menstruation, or whether it was just time and conscious de-stressing that helped me flow. I highly recommend trying though - parsley is good for you regardless! (And delicious in pesto!) Let me know what you find.
