...or have something that can boost your blood sugar levels without presenting additional issues of its own, as refined sugar does. ;)
Try a whole food-- like fruit, for a 'quick-fix', and then follow it in a little bit with something more substantial like a protein+carb combination, for longer-lasting energy.
