I am interested in report by researchers at Univ. of California, Santa Cruz, that Alzheimer's is a prion disease. I have read many articles over the past 5 years indicating sCJD and AD are frequently mistaken one for the other. There are 5.3 million AD victims in US with a new case every 70 seconds - adding half million a year. http://sludgevictims.com/pathogens/ALZHEIMERS-CJD-samepriondisease.doc

Infectious prions have been found in blood, saliva, urine, feces, mucosa, muscle, spleen, liver, pancreas, kidney, ovary, uterus, and skin. of human and animal victims of TSEs (transmissible spongiform encephalopathies). With over 5 million AD victims, there is an urgent need to determine postential risk via surgical, dental, endoscopes, opthomologic instruments, etc. of iatrogenic transmission.

USDA only tests less than 1% of cows slaughtered each year, and only 1/4 of 1% of downer animals are tested - the ones most likely to be infected with BSE.

I continue to seek information on whether bad meat may be causing the Alzheimer's epidemic.
