Hi,
I believe it says this on the medication, but if you are experiencing recurring infections, it may not be treatable with the OTC (over-the-counter) medicine, and you need to make an appointment with your doctor to be diagnosed accurately. Anytime you have recurring symptoms, it is important to stop using the OTC medications and contact your doctor.

Not to worry...it may just be another type of infection that requires prescription antibiotics or other treatment that is specifically for the type of condition/infection you have. It is actually quite common.

Let us know what your doctor says! If you have any additional questions, let us know, including the following information: What specific symptoms are you experiencing, and have they changed since you started using Monistat? How long have you had these symptoms? Any other relevant information we should know?
