Hi Anonymous-
The symptoms you are describing are symptoms of hypothyroidism. Have you spoken again to your prescribing doctor? It sounds like perhaps your levothyroxine dose needs some adjustment. All of those symptoms, including the bone pain, can be thyroid related.

I also wonder are you seeing an endocrinologist? That is the specialist for this type of issue, and an endocrinologist would be very current on treatments for hypothyroid, where a family practitioner may understand it but not be aware of new, cutting edge treatment.

I suggest discussing the dosing with your physician, or going to a specialist if you aren't already. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend specific doctors for you. Your husband's surgeon might have an endocrinologist to recommend-maybe you should ask. Often doctors have working relationships with doctors in other specialities.
