Hi,
Believe it or not...this is not an usual question! It's easy to "not know" if you take a pill, even if it's gone from your pack, as it becomes so routine that we don't remember taking it, or if it fell down the sink drain...or any number of "what if's".

A few reasons not to worry:
1. You and your boyfriend are using double protection (I assume condoms), and using the pill is considered having protected sex (from pregnancy), so you are protected in several ways.
2. Worst-case scenario: you didn't take the pill. Missing one pill does not significantly increase your chance of pregnancy. Read your patient information brochure that came with your pill pack...it probably says that if you take one pill, you do not need to use back-up protection (of course, this is assuming you took it later). Use a condom for the next 7 days, and you are protected.

Your body should not have any adverse reactions to missing one pill.

Does that help?
