This is really a question I think your doctor needs to answer for you, not only because she or he knows everything about your condition but also because your age, your height, your current weight and your current fitness level would all factor into it.
Because it's harder for your heart to push blood through your system, you really want to be careful. But I'll bet that you may not even have to make an appointment to find out the answer to this question; you may be able to just call your doctor's office and ask to speak to the nurse practitioner or the physician's assistant. They can ask the doctor and get back to you. Will you do that?
