It is difficult to say what is not normal when it comes to vaginal lubrication. The truth is most problems result from not enough lubrication, so in that sense you are doing well.
Is this something that bothers you? Sometimes men comment on this as a sort of compliment to themselves, like "She must really be into me for this to be happening." I'm wondering if that is the type of comment you are hearing and thinking it is a complaint.

If it really bothers you, see a gynecologist to be checked out and discuss what you can do about it. But in all honesty, I think it sounds like you are pretty normal, and just a little unsure because of a couple of comments.
