Hi Anonymous-

I think you are asking about charting basal body temperature to assist you in getting pregnant? We have a page on this topic: https://www.empowher.com/community/ask/basal-body-temperature-question-trying-conceive. It will be helpful to have a special basal thermometer. It is not so much about what is the correct temperature as watching your normal temperature go up as you track it each day. It should go up about a half a degree during ovulation, I believe.

The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has a great page on becoming pregnant, and covers the basal temperature charting: http://www.acog.org/publications/patient_education/ab012.cfm.

I hope this helps you. Good luck and thanks for writing.
