Estrogen is more commonly associated with yeast and progesterone with less yeast, although everyone is different. I'm researching this and a question I have for you is what kind of specialist are you seeing?
Sometimes treatment resistant yeast is treated with long term Diflucan rather than the normal course, but I'm assuming that's been tried if you've been on it 8 times.
Has all of your other blood work been normal? Meaning you aren't immune suppressed or don't have an autoimmune disease? Are you on any other medications or herbal therapies you didn't mention?
I'm going to look for resources for you but if you are comfortable it would be helpful to have answers to these questions. I'm sure you are extremely frustrated. I will get back to you.
