I am 34 and have been afflicted with this cyst since it revelaed itself in 2011 while i was traveling for work. I thought i had some unusual pressure on my tailbone from sleeping for months in hotel beds. The first time it drained on its own, i had no clue what was happening, just some funky gunk on my hand when i wiped. After that first time, it was coming about every 6 weeks. I have found a manageable treatment for myself because I REFUSE to have a surgery that will cut open my back and leave it open and not even have a 50% chance that it would prevent the cyst from returning. I have some lovely tattoos back there too that id rather not cut off.
My husband is Jamaican and he gave me a fruit that is supposed to kill off cancer cells and infection when i first started to feel it coming. The next day, it was less and the folowwing day, it went back down. Never had to drain it, and it stopped hurting. I have since found the fruit in the States and also tea from its leaves and i blend it in smoothies, drink juice, ajd make hot tea with it. Its called Soursop in the Carribbean, and Guanabana in Latin countries. This fruit and the occasional Epson salt bath is what has kept me out of the hospital. I load up on extra when i feel it starting to surface and a day or two later, its gone akd doesnt come back for months when i keep soursop in my diet. Try some by looking in the freezer section of your local international market!!
