Hi Gloria

This is a common issue during perimenopause, and you can end up pretty anemic. I personally had these issues for several years, and ended up having an endometrial ablation about 1.5 years ago. My quality of life since then is sooo much better! I recommend seeing a gynecologist who actually cares about menopausal women, because honestly, they are not all interested in us, and discussing your options. The ablation did the trick for me. I'm no longer anemic, my periods are very light and short, and I have not needed any hormonal or other treatment.

I just cannot recommend this highly enough. I was laid up for about 2 days, it was not painful, it was outpatient, and it is no exaggeration to say it changed my life. If you want further details, let me know. Good luck.
