I am so sorry--I know it is frustrating beyond words. As your doctors said, endometriosis is one of those conditions that is difficult to treat and can keep "reappearing" after surgery or other treatments.
In vitro fertilization is absolutely a great alternative, but the hormones from pregnancy can also cause your endometriosis to become more severe. Many women who have endometriosis have become pregnant through in-vitro fertilization and have healthy babies; it depends on the type of health care, your individual situation and many other factors.
