Hi Diana,
I too have endo growing inside my right ovary. My gyno/obst told me that any eggs from that ovary would most likely not be viable. I was put on Zoladex for 6 months to try and stop the Endo growing (it was like going through menopause - hot flushes, mood swings, no periods etc...). It was only at the end of this treatment after having another laparoscopy that Endo was discovered in my right ovary. I was given a 6 month window to fall pregnant before it started to grow back. Fortunately I went on to have two successful pregnancies.

Since you have both ovaries affected I would continue with the IVF treatment and do as your doctor advises. See if there are other alternatives/procedures you can have done to increase your chances of falling pregnant. Your doctor should be able to advise you of this.

Its been almost 4 years since having my second child and my endo pain felt like it was coming back as bad as it was before I had my kids. I discovered an Endometirosis diet which I've been on for 4 months. I am virtually pain free now. The diet is meant to bring the Endo into remission/dormancy (you can never be cured from it). Its very restrictive but if it helps your Endo I'd give it a go.

Hope all the best for you
Jo
