Hi Diana,
Its a shame its so expensive to have IFV treatment, I hope you'll be able to full pregnant naturally. When I first found out I had endo the pain was so bad I couldn't stand up straight for four days. My uterus had adhered to my bowel and was lucky I got treatment when I did otherwise I may have had bowel obstruction as well. Apparently after a while endo becomes sticky which is when it can start causing big problems.

I'm sorry to hear you've been in so much pain, I hope it eases up for you soon.

The diet is from a book called "Recipes for the Endometriosis Diet" by Carolyn Levett. The following link will give you an idea of the books content and why certain foods aggravate the disease.

I've read on other blogs that wheat and diary seem to be triggers. I tend to agree with that as I stuck to the diet strictly for 3 months. It was amazing how quickly I felt the benefits, my first cycle on the diet was almost pain free. As the book suggests, you can slowly reintroduce foods that you were restricted from eating and determine for yourself if/what particular food triggers the pain. I am still off diary but started back on wheat and still have virtually no pain each cycle.

All the best
Jo
