Women have different or irregular periods often, and as long as you are having a menstrual period, it means you are not pregnant.
It might help to know this information about abnormal periods; you should call your doctor if you experience bleeding that is:
- excessive, soaking more than one pad or tampon every hour
- lasting longer than 7 days
