The combination of Vitamin D and calcium appears to be problematic when the vitamin D blood levels are low and when they are high according to Dr William Davis,a leading cardiologist who has patients who suffer hypercalcemia when taking 1,200mg of calcium and have blood levels of Vitamin D between 60ng and 70ng. He recommends no more than 600mg of calcium with this vitamin D blood level.
Personally I think anybody with this level of serum Vitamin D should have their calcium levels regularly checked by their doctor.
