Thanks for your response. Yes, I am looking for a new doctor for two reasons. One, my doctor is not an ob/gyn and is in a big practice, so you never get to see him. Two, when I told his nurse practitioner about what was going on, her advice was to increase the dose of Ativan that I'm on, which is exactly the opposite of what I'm trying to do - which is to get off of it!
