Just wanted to respond to the statement here:
"Con – Use of HRT may cause an increased risk of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease."
I'm not sure what the basis is for this, but recent research has shown that HRT can actually decrease the risk of dementia when given within 5 years of menopause (later there is not a benefit). The study is here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23100399#
