Yes. Thanks for bringing up the very real situations where the sufferer is unable to function.

I am recovering from CFS myself and while I am far more functional and live a much more normal life than I used to there were months at a time that would recur over a period of some years, when I was unable even to think a coherent thought. I was fortunate to have a husband and family who took care of me and expected absolutely nothing from me. None of us knew if I would ever get any better.

Many people dealing with CFS and FM are incapacitated for extended periods of time. The support and involvement of those who love them is essential.
