I completely agree with what Cary told you--if there is not real penetration, you're still a virgin. The matter of virginity is an interesting one anyway. Many mistakenly think it's when the hymen is broken. Here's an article about that:

So the real thing of virginity is if you're sexually active or not. I believe if you're fooling around, you're toying with this idea. Here is a good article about figuring out if you're ready:

It's true that knowledge is power. If you're grown up enough to be fooling around, be responsible and accept that you owe it to yourself (and your future self) to take care of yourself. Protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy, and STDs. Don't go through this time of your life blindly. Enjoy it, live it, be in control.
