I had a cryo/RF ablation done ten weeks ago. My resting heart rate (RHR) was 55-65 pre-ablation and jumped to 90-95 immediately after the ablation. After ten weeks, my RHR is still "all over the place." Typically, it is in the 85-90 range during the day and drops to 75-80 while sleeping. So far, the ablation has stopped my A-Fib and about 80% of my PACs. However, with the higher RHR, I find I can no longer work or exercise as before (get tired, short of breath, fast heart rate, etc.). I am off Xarelto and am weaning myself off beta blockers (bisoprolol). My blood pressure is still normal. I hope my RHR will decrease over time.
