I am 53 and 10 weeks post extensive Heart Ablation. I am seeing my cardiologist today because I had my first Sinus or Atrial Tachycardia episode since surgery. Once I climbed in bed and started relaxing my heart rate shot up to 154 in less than a minute. My "new" resting heart rate has been 99 to 125. I am not on any medications post surgery. I'm not sure if they will have to do another ablation( as they told me is always a possibility). I didn't handle the beta blocker pre surgery very well nor the heart rate medication so, I am hoping I will not have to try them again.
