Good question, Pat. In a quick Google search I found more "aesthetic foot" practices in Southern California, and others in Arizona, Tennessee and New York. One calls itself "Institute Beaute" and says, if you can believe it, "the foot is the new face." Good grief!
There's even an "International Aesthetic Foot Society," double good grief. They list members in Oklahoma, Alabama, Kentucky...
The combination of the entertainment industry and the media will continue to provide almost endless fuel for this fire, I'm afraid. I think it's up to us women to put our foot down.
