I did some research on Gluten Ataxia, and it makes sense that you stopped feeling dizzy and are generally feeling better after starting a gluten-free diet. Ataxia means wobbliness, a lack of coordination and unsteadiness due to the brain's failure to regulate the body's posture and regulate the strength and direction of limb movements. Ataxia is usually a consequence of disease in the brain, specifically in the cerebellum. It can also be caused by gluten intolerance. As far as Livial, this is a hormone replacement drug and is a synthetic steroid. I'm not able to find any clinical references regarding any role it may play in restoring memory.
